Update On My Son..............& Toy Drive

Well after looking it all over, their lucky to be around, the fire cheif said it was started by a faulty wire and had been burning inside the wall for atleast a day.

Everything is ruined, either it's wet, burned or smoke damaged, and the house has been condemed.

They were renters and had no insurance unfortunitly, so they are up shit creek without a paddle, my son is staying with us right now, and his wife and kids are at their mothers.

It's going to be tough on them, cause they have to basicly start over, but with help from the family they should be ok.

My son is a strong man and is taking this very good, the kids on the other hand are not, it's hard looking at those sad litle faces.

They lost all their new christmas toys and their home.

So im going to try and bring a little sunshine to them by starting a little toy drive for them, if you have any spare toy or toys, or anything you think a 10 and 12 year boys would like could you please find it in your hearts to donate to a needy cause.

If you feel you can help, please pm me for my mailing info, this is for a very good cause and will make two little boys very happy again.

Any idea of their interests? Might give us a better idea.

I didn't venture into the Coffee thread this morning, so I am sorry to hear this happened t them, but atleast they are all out safe and sound!

Thanks for your replys guys,

Money is cool, as for their interest, they did collect action figures, thanks to granddad. [img]biggrin.gif[/img] they pretty much like anything, sports, football and hockey, they like video games( they had a ps1), board games, toy guns, Just typical boy stuff.

Im sure if your a guy, and you think it's cool or something you would play with as a 10yr old or 12yr old, im pretty sure they will like, im sure they will enjoy anything seeing how they have nothing.
